What an absolutely wonderful winery experience! Thank you Seifried and Harvest Kitchen for the amazing service, wine tasting and lunch. The pork belly was one of my top dishes I’ve had - the crispy cracklin was perfectly paired with the beautiful Waldorf salad - and Chardonnay. Loved it! And the pan fried gnocchi with mushrooms was a decadent and delightful dish! If you’re in Nelson, make sure you stop by this incredible family winery, you’re welcome.
Excellent Food, Service and setting, went here for lunch with 10 other friends and we all loved it, food and platters were great size and flavour, was prepared reasonably fast. Very impressed all happy to return again!
Some friends and I recently visited this lovely winery, amazing wine and we enjoyed a delicious platter from the harvest kitchen restaurant next door. All the staff were super friendly and made us feel really welcome, definitely recommend this place for groups or couples, will definitely DEFINITELY! do this again. Thanks so much everybody.
Very good wines are there. Professionally run. Anna Seifried is very knowledgeable and has good academic background in wines. Patiently answered my questions. It's very difficult to meet such professionals in wine tasting area. After spending so much time there, I wished I should be the part their team. Winery is also there. We can have a good family and friends gettogether. Good ambiance indoor and out door. Pastry and cofee were very good. Very relaxing atmosphere. Very good scenic location and it's better to prepare for more hours to enjoy. May be first half and pkan the second half to rabit island. Bought 4 bottles and real value for money. High end wines with international standard newzealand wines are available. Starting from $15 to 115$. once the international tourists flow picks up, they should start their own unique wine tours like their wines.
We came here for lunch after reading the reviews and had been to a winery in Picton with great expectations. But I’m afraid we were disappointed, the service was good from a friendly waitress.I had chosen the signature dish of Belly pork which was not good and not crispy at all. Disappointed!!
If the staff had have been more active in their service they could have sold our table waaaay more booze. The steak was like a slice of par boiled tyre. The bread that came with the pate was more holes than bread. There was no dessert menu...WTAH? Be careful in the men's bogs...you may get launched into the urinal. Young staff member Maia was charming but it felt like they were short staffed in a not busy restaurant. CTH... Could try harder.
What a amazing place to go with family and friends . A very nice outdoor area with playground for the kids and yes it is dog friendly. I really enjoyed that place ,very cozy with an amazing views, the food and the wine is just delicious . Great place for weddings and functions .
Only $5 for wine tasting and Seifried wine is one of my favourites I love their dessert wine
Amazing food and gorgeous winery. Mika was exceptionally helpful and great at his job!
Out of ~50 tasting I had this year, this was by far the worst wine tasting experience I had. Felt like tasting in a supermarket. AND so that we would not forget to feel like in supermarket - every time we asked the question about their wines we were reminded that the wine can be bought in a supermarket. And it was done in a way which indicated that wines are not good at all. It felt like a person who was conducting the wine tasting was superior to us. To be clear, the wines were lovely, but the tasting experience was horrific. Totally opposite was the lunch next door. Staff was lovely; so was the food. Loved the restaurant.
