I found Emily's training style tailored to both dog and owner. Having a Giant Breed, there are certain things to watch for so this was great. Emily is kind and patient. I felt very comfortable and was sent home with so much knowledge. I look forward to the next training class! Highly recommend.
Emily is one of the most amazing dog behaviourists there is. She was recommended to me by my local vet because my puppy was exhibiting signs of anxiety around people. I took him to see her and she has transformed him into a confident very well behaved dog. She only uses positive reinforcement methods and is staunchly against negative reinforcement like shock collars which is an absolute bonus and non-negotiable for me!. Emily also doesn't just focus her training on the dog, she provides owners with skills, knowledge, and resources to make sure that training is consistent and you feel confident as a dog owner. Lessons are fun, interactive, and she makes clients feel like a friend. My dog has attended puppy classes, one on ones, walks, and a home visit with Emily and we will be clients of hers for life. Thanks so much Emily!
Emily’s classes were so much fun and a great learning environment for both myself & my puppy. The classes are small and exercises can be tailored to the needs of each puppy. I’ve done both the Puppy Classes & the Life Skills classes and can’t recommend them highly enough!
Emily is amazing! We had one session so far for our 1 year old pup and the things we have learnt to train him with are so helpful and effective that I was surprised our pup was able to understand and learn. Her instructions are clear and to the point with lots of great insight to a dog's psychology. Thank you Emily. Everytime we attended Emily’s puppy classes we felt like we were learning just as much as our puppy and we really appreciate the extra advice she gives. I also liked that the environment created was a safe learning space for everyone and the dogs. We hope to continue with Emily as our puppy grows.
Together with our Yorkie puppy Louis, my wife and I attended both Puppy Classes and Life Skills classes held by Emily last year. Louis LOVED the experiences, gained confidence and learnt skills which provided a base for his continued learning. We can't recommend Emily enough - she's highly skilled, totally dedicated and lovely with all of the dogs. Recommend her book too - Training humans, teaching dogs.
My pup enjoyed the Puppy Training Course so much she was busting to get in the door each week. By the end of the five week course, I understood the basics - communicating clearly, rewarding good behaviour, distracting from unwanted behaviour. Now I am booking in for a course at the next level.
Em is the most amazing person. She is passionate and so professional. Her advice and guidance has always assisted with my fur babies and helping me understand them better to give them the best possible life. I would highly recommend her to anyone anywhere in the world
Brilliant behaviourist. Often refer clients to Emily and the feedback is always brilliant. The puppies coming out of her puppy classes are always really well behaved in my consults and I actively recommend people to sign their puppies up.
Emily is fantastic! Super knowledgeable and great with the puppies. We did puppy class and life skills. Learnt heaps, and the socialisation was great for Kona. We could see the progress each week. Would definitely recommend!
