Story

The school ball is an exciting event. New dresses can average $200-$500 which is a huge cost for something that is worn once. Other events which call for a beautiful dress include weddings, business awards, elegant parties and red carpet.

As a vegan, I care about animals and our environment. I recycle whenever I can, so wearing secondhand is not new to me. Therefore starting up SCG was the perfect project to offer girls a solution that is budget-friendly, sustainable, and beautiful.

All gowns at SCG are under $100. Each gown is carefully handpicked by me - I’d like to think that I have good taste!

All gowns are available to view and try on in my Auckland showroom.

Incredibly unfriendly staff, most dresses only available in a single size which makes trying them on a bit of a waste of time. Dresses are extremely expensive for what they are, would recommend anywhere other than this unpleasant, unhelpful, overpriced waste of a store.

Went to try dresses for my cousin's wedding and the staff told my sister that they don't have 'big sizes and they don't have anything here for her' the other staff member overheard and mentioned they can order 'big sizes' in. If you want to be made to feel uncomfortable and want the worst service definately go to wedding whispers...
