Excelent experience a hidden gem thank you Liz and Bryce for our Friday night stay. Sunny deck for evening drinks with an awesome sea view at this well appointed classic style older motel. An easy walk to the beach area and covered car parking. Our first time to Onaero and would stay here again. Great value and quiet
What a lovely spot. Older property but very clean. It's up on the bluff, but you can walk down to the beach at low tide. And you can listen to the surf crashing. We have a 2 bedrooms unit with a small kitchen and living room. Good free wifi, TV too but we probably won't turn it on. Covered parking.
My wife’s family took over Seaview Motel for 4 days. They had stayed there as children and had fond memories of their holidays. It did not let them down. We originally wanted to stay a few years ago but Covid made it impossible as we were travelling from NZ, England, Hawaï and Aus. Bryce was unbelievably helpful and friendly. After moving the dates for 4 years we finally made it. Very comfortable units and it worked worked brilliantly for the 14 of us. Many thanks.
Friendly staff, rooms clean and everything we needed was available, except for lights adjacent to the single beds. Very pleasant sitting on the verandah for breakfast, taking in the view of the gardens and the distant sea. Price very reasonable.nWhile the laundry and bathroom areas were quirkily original 60s, I feel they should be renovated to make them more user friendly. :
Great location and friendly owner. Not super fancy but has everything you need good kitchen set up, TV with Freeview, lovely fresh sheets, comfy couch making it great value for money.nnLocation was top notch with a short private bush track to the beach.nnWe will definitely come back :
