Wowza’s I can’t believe this dairy is still here! As a kid, after Dad & I would go fishing we would then head down to this Dairy & get these awesome famous Nz Ice Cream Still tastes like heaven The gentleman who run’s the store with his wife & daughter’s is really lovely & spoke about the dairy & beautiful Seatoun. Coming back here with my husband after so many years was bliss, still looks the same. I must say some of the reviews on here are really funky, for crying out loud it’s a small business for a quaint & cute little dairy. Leave it alone
Slice of Dairy history, like stepping back in time :
Has a huge GELATO sign outside the place ...dont believe it ..when asked they said ..no they dont have any this year ! Take your damned sign down then !!nAs if that wasnt enough.. the price for a kiddie cone on the wall is $2.20.. the woman made three kiddie cone icecreams as requested ..then the arse of an old man there came and argued that they looked more like 'standard' cones and wanted to charge me extra.Think his problem should have been sorted with the woman working there not me. He was totally obnoxious and we told him told to stick his icecreams. Dont go there ...he tried to rip us offnnReplying to the owners response .. i would challenge him to provide evidence of the racial inference he alleges. There was no mention by me of anything to do with anybodys ethnicity. The racial slur that he is alleging is a total fabrication on his part.nI asked for kiddie cones !! Why advertise kiddie cones if you dont want to supply them I wonder ? The woman who made the icecreams was very obliging ..there was no.problem at all with her. It was the old man who was obnoxiousnnMust be the only dairy in the world that has AUDIO surveillance lol.. hilarious
Great ice-cream selection and I had a nice mango slushy that lasted 90 minutes.nKept the old folks happy with the ice-cream, and the slushy was a perfect treat.
Dont sell cigarettes which isn't the worst thing to be honest! But unfortunately they dont know how to make iced coffee, which is a little more then cold coffee and milk with cubes of ice. Nice try though.
