Sealord would desecrate anything for a $ Remember the parasites in their fish don't die when frozen only when cooked. So cook from frozen and it'll all look like fish. Descent health and safety policies but i had an issue with something that was unsafe and i was ostracized from the place as a sub contractor and banned from site. Still using Russian sailors.
Cooked some Captains Choice Fish Fingers tonight. Looked and tasted disgusting. I don't know what's in them but they were grey in colour and bland in taste only ate 2. Attached are a couple of photos of what Seafood say are a good source of omega 3.
Pub Style,GF, or Crumbed Fish-All Yum Thanks Recommend
Fish was just ok,the crumb on fish was diabolical, non crispy, very pale, won't be buying again.
Firstly your add campaign between a father and his daughter just doesn't make sense and is offensive. Swim like a fish and then to see Sealord. Like a dead fish or a fish is going to help this little girl or father swim faster or swim at all. Your products are horrible. I bought one packet of Crumbled Hoki and the smallest fillers which begs the question how big are the fish you're fishing. I phoned and left a message which was obviously gleamed over as you never got back to me. Thanks won't be buying your products ever again!!
Trawling in protected zones? Untrustworthy and ecologically destructive. We're never buying from any associated brand again until you can prove an above and beyond commitment to the conservation of our marine environment. Absolute bloody mongrels
I bought Sealords Hoki with garlic sauce. These were greasy and left me feeling unwell. I was expecting to enjoy a fish meal but the little slice of fish was lost in crumbs and the sauce. I am disappointed with this product. I also think the packaging is another expense which just goes into the bin.Sorry Sealord, but this product was invented by someone trying too hard. Get back to basics and respect the fish by letting us taste it.
Just like to suggest that you stop using pull ring lids on your 95g cans as they are so small and inflexible that they are impossible to open without a can opener.
Very disappointed...After finding a hair in my Hoki and contacting the company, I was sent a $10 Coles gift card...which was declined ! Not awkward at all...After emailing the company to bring this to their attention, I was sent a replacement with patronising instructions on how to use it & guess what? Yep, that one declined as well. Any attempts to speak to an actual person are futile leave a message...Yeah, right. Maybe the 'Consumer Care Co-ordinator' should "pop out" and check one from the same batch, instead of implying mine was the only complaint :/ Update...Pleased to say that Sealord checked and found they had not activated the gift cards & have rectified the problem. YAY
DISGUSTING - DO NOT BUY New Zealand Hoki in tempura batter, 6 fillets, lets call them goldfish fillets, 3 small, 2 smaller, one looks half eaten, they are greasy and disgusting. Tried calling their FREECALL line 3 times and left messages, they never called back.
