Very well organized, no hassle. Drive on Drive off. Didnt spot many road signs to the actual destination- thank goodness for Google maps.
Great staff great service, i think my car really enjoyed herself. the ferry isn't cheap but hey its a car ferry not a dingy with an outboard will be even better when new wharf at Waiheke is finished. The staff make it so easy, the big ferry is by far the better experience, the little one with cabin off to one side is a bit blah, smaller cafe selection and no where to stretch out on the crossing so i normally stay in my car, no point having to people if nothing worth peopling for.The 3rd medium sized one is yr medium experience probably best for beige people.....
Why is there no accessibility access for people in wheelchairs or on crutches? It completely spoiled our experience. Staff were great. Smooth operation but only stairs in this day and age? Really! Time to do better. What are your future plans to improve accessibility?
A seamless experience and very convenient. Also need to mention exceptional service from a particular staff member. Thank you for helping us lift our pram up the stairs and also helping me look for my lost property after hours!

Staff was unhelpful and rude. We are tourists from Australia and I would like to drive my car on the ferry. I arrived at 11:58, and should be able to catch the 12:00pm, i asked the lady with a orange color vest can we board the ferry. She didn't ask me details and just "assume" we are "passenger only" without a car and told me it's already too late because there was no car park and you can't park your car hereI was thinking why should I park my car here, maybe there is a special procedure or something and we missed the ferry. I came back and complained this case to another ticket office staff and she just being uncared and said "OK sorry there is a miscommunication". Customer service should not "assume" something and be unhelpful to solve the customer problem.
Ferry is reliable, friendly staff, leaves on time, Staff were able to assist other passengers that wanted to catch earlier or later ferries at no extra costs which was awesome to see. Good selection of food and drink available on bored. Dog, vehicle and bicycle friendly ferry. Plenty of free parking available on week days if you would like to only travel as a passenger.
Nice and tidy ferry and terminal. Friendly staff. Well organised. Tried two different ferries: different designs and different speeds. Toilets were not bad, cafes were closed due to pandemic restrictions. On-time and well scheduled. Lovely when u get the second storey.
Nothing like it, I have enjoyed here since settling in Auckland, ie, a small timeout near the sea, watching yachts and the scenery. Wow.
Clean boats very friendly staff. Coffee and food on board. Also able to carry goods over to waiheke or great barrier islands. Can take car on board as well.
