There was a 30 minute wait but we were told before ordering which was appreciated. The coffees were not great but the big breakfast and the eggs bene with salmon were nice. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection, the serving sizes were decent and the service good.
love this place. i like the way they serve the tea - it comes with hot water for refill: they want their customers to stay longer and enjoy.
Awesome service. A must visit when you're coming to Picton. The lady on the front counter is just lovely
The saddest sandwich I've ever seen. Ordered the lamb sandwich lunch special. Could only eat less than half of it as the meat was full of fat which needed to be picked out. Sloppy brown bread and not a thing else in the sandwich. I found myself at another Cafe re- doing lunch less than an hour later
The name on the menu does not match what is actually served. Ordered tiger prawns on the menu and were served shrimps instead. Im sure the food would we been good but disappointed in general that it was not what was expected. Got our refund back that was fine . Tiger PRAWNS are bigger than tiger SHRIMPS just Google it.
Good food, great views of the Marlborough Sounds. Sit inside or outside, just be prepared for a little wait on orders as it's so often full Iced coffee is divine
