Great comfort food on a cold, wet evening. Picked up Lamb shanks with mash and peas and Apple and date pudding for dessert. Ready in 20 mins. Good serving size. I would have liked slightly more flavour in both dishes, but cooked beautifully and meat fell off the bone.
Absolutely STELLER! I had the lasagna and bread and butter pudding. The lasagna was super light, lots of layers and the sauce was delicious. The bread and butter pudding was rich with flavour and an excellent end to the meal. It was delivered early, and still warm. It was restaurant quality and I will definitely be ordering from here again. Good job guys!
Since when does lasagne come covered in gravy!? I thought I had the wrong order when I opened it up and all I saw was brown. I ate half of it as per photo, it's a big serve, but it wasn't a proper lasagne with a rich tomato sauce. It tasted OK... but you can't call that lasagne! Somewhere, someone's Nonna is turning in her grave!
I had the bacon fettuccine and a bread and butter pudding and was very impressed. The portion sizes were great and the pasta was well cooked with the right amount of sauce and good pieces of mushroom.
Last night I spent over $240 worth of food and desserts from here with high expectations. And I know that I will never purchase from here again. Everything was bland and soggy! The deserts were split and inedible! This was the first time I ever bought from here and was really looking forward to it, until I recieved everything and all hopes were deflated once the food was being tasted.
Lamb curry had hardly any lamb in it and the sauce tasted like butter chicken, The mash potatoes and gravy were okay but rather sticky They forgot our garlic bread, menus at motel/hotels are out of date which makes ordering a hassle. One of the staff members was super nice on the phone and help a bit with getting our order sorted. Experience could've been better in all honesty
Over cooked and cold fish n chips. The couscous salad absolutely disgusting did not even finish it. Had two spoon fulls the yoghurt smelt off. Do not order from here it is not worth your money. Chicken fettuccini had no chicken in it either. I had to give one star to write this review
I ordered Large Chips, Crumbed Fish, Lamb Shanks, Pork Ribs and Chocolate Mousse. Food was excellent. It was ready in about 20 minutes despite the fact that only two staff were on duty at peak time. Portions were good. Perfect value for money. I would definitely order again and can recommend Scoff to anyone.
Poor experience. Had order cancelled off uber eats first time without explanation, resent order thinking there may have been a glitch to then have cancelled again with restaurant advising they couldn’t do “no onions”, but not explaining why. Most restaurants try to accommodate dietary requests or at least explain why they can’t. Poor service.
Had to give 1 star to write this! I ordered ribs with mash & peas. The portion of ribs was much smaller than it used to be but no longer are they tender - they are very chewy now. There were no peas, instead it was broccoli, cauli & lots of carrots. The carrots were very hard I couldn't eat them and unpeeled which could be tasted - if I wanted blanched veges, I would've ordered them! The BBQ sauce was VERY tangy again inedible! but what happened to the gravy it used to be served with? Overall I was very dissatified & will no longer be ordering ANYTHING from Scoffs!!
