Great game of cricket. West Indies vs to he Blackcaps. Not many high profile games in Nelson. Ground packed out. Plenty of food and drinks available. One of the nicest grounds in New Zealand.

Have had a fantastic day sitting on the perfectly sloped grassed embankments. Capacity crowd, great cricket. Clean loos and plenty of food available...

Mt first experience of going to cricket at Saxton Oval.nLoved every aspect of it except the horrible loud music that they insisted on playing every time there was a pause in the play. It ruined the otherwise lovely peaceful venue.nWhat makes the organizers think people enjoy that rubbish noise?
