Didn't even give us the option to eat in even though my 8 year old sister wanted to. I've been coming here for years and the food has slowly gotten worse the pad Thai just taste like peanut butter and the green curry had no flavor other than spice it was mild For the amount the green curry alone is it should come with the same amount of rice but it doesn't comes with maybe half that. Very disappointing considering no one was at any of the tables we could have ate in they obviously couldn't be bothered cleaning a few dishes will no this next time walking in the rain with a paper bag. Kid-friendliness: Not child friendly at all as they didn't want us eating in.
Been to this place twice now, both times the service has been left wanting. The first occasion stuffed the order up and provided food for my partner with food that she was allergic to, went back to swap it after calling up and being advised they couldn't deliver only to have the second order missing satay sauce for the roti. Second occasion the food was just given away to another customer. Food was good the first time around once the order came. Still waiting on the second order.
The worst Laab I have ever had, disgusting! Very bland and no flavour like description says. Meant to be mild and there was no spice at all.
Food is goooood I ordered Basil Stir Fry Hot and Fish Cakes. They had the window opened for fresh air and the little water fountain running.Takes me back to Thailand. Especially with the hot weather right now.
Quite disappointed with the flavors. Green curry was simply bland and Mee Goreng wasn't even close to its authentic self. Please drop Thai or Aunthentic from your name. The food is nowhere near Thai food.
The food is quite good. The dining experience makes it clear that their focus is on take aways and delivering. Vegetarian options: As you'd expect from a Thai restaurant, they do vegetarian versions of everything? on the menu.
Great food and service is awesome. Found this place walking along the road trying to find a place to eat. Glad we came in as the food is delicious and authentic.
Great spot for yummy food. Nice, clean, modern restaurant and friendly service. I had the Pad See Ew and my partner had the cashew nut stir fry, both vegetarian and came with lots of tofu. When we asked for vegetarian they checked to make sure egg and tofu were ok, which was thoughtful. Very fresh veggies. Despite the generous portions, I ate all mine because it was so delicious. They were very busy with takeaway orders but I didn’t feel the service for dine-in customers suffered. Have a little patience and you will be rewarded!

Had an incredibly disappointing meal from Thai Tara Johnsonville. Portions/value for money was good - but that was the ONLY positive thing. We ordered Spring Rolls, Beef Noodle Soup, and a Penang curry. - The spring rolls were soggy and soft - like they had been microwaved instead of deep fried – truly disgusting… - The beef noodle soup had a flavorless broth, and pale slimy cuts of beef. The rice noodles were the best part… - The Penang curry chicken with extra veg was terrible. There was no range of flavors, it tasted like coconut milk and curry powder. The chicken was jelly-like, and had no texture… I believe it was fully cooked, but not 100% sure on that… I ordered it Medium heat, yet there was not even a hint of spice. The rice was definitely the best part… I went to Thai Tara in the Wellington CBD a few weeks prior, and had a delicious and satisfying meal, which was packed full of flavor, spice, and what felt like quality ingredients. I cannot understand how terrible the quality of food at the Johnsonville store was. How does the quality slip so drastically, despite the stores being only 10km apart?? This is the second time I’ve ordered from this restaurant in the last 6 months - both times have been very disappointing.
