We found multiple second hand items that were the same price as new items, despite these items being worn and stained. We also got told off for trying on a jacket for size in the aisle. After the lady explained why I understood, but she wasn’t very nice about it and was quite condescending. Overall not a nice experience anymore. It used to be good but I wouldn’t recommend it anymore.
Good range of items but extremely overpriced for second hand clothing, anything that has a somewhat recognisable label is priced through the roof. A lot of the items are cheaper to buy brand new. Very disappointing considering the items are donated.
Awful experience. One woman berated my mother-in-law for trying on a jacket she just picked from the rack and was extremely rude and condescending when we asked why. The prices are outrageous for second-hand, not worth it when there are better and cheaper op shops only a few streets up. The lady that was at checkout was very kind. She is their only saving grace.
Savemart more like Scam-Mart. Selling junk at atrocious prices, anything slightly better than junk you’ll be paying damn near full price. Just because something has the tags on doesn’t mean you should sell it at extortionate prices. No wonder that place is crammed. And well, I attempted to try on 3 items and got yelled at and said I can’t hang the rest of the clothes I want to try on later on the hangers outside the changing room told I should have bought someone with me to hold them if I didn’t want them to put them back before I try them on.nI just walked out in the end as I came out of the changing room and they had taken stuff they knew I wanted to try on and put it back. Disgusting. There was 2 other peoplenIn the store and they could have let me. I Will never return, disgusting experience. This place was awesome 10 years ago. Now it’s a cold, unwelcome scam.nAvoid like the plague.
I guess for a used clothing store one would struggle to find much better. Racks are quite easily negotiated. Fitting rooms seem a bit small and it could be more efficient to add a higher limit on the number of items that can be fitted in a single visit, which might be lowered at busy times. Some items seem overpriced and others are a real bargain.
