We got the sausage roll, scallop, steak/cheese and mince/tomato/onion. Cute and clean small town bakery. Steak chunks were big. Scallop pie was delicious and had a whole scallop inside. The mince were underwhelming on its own but came together once eaten with the whole slice of onion & tomato which was just under the super flakey top.
Extremely clean and friendly bakery. I had a fantastic flat white from there just after lunch. Went back there at 3:45pm which was just before closing and all they had left were some bacon and egg pies and a mince, cheese, tomato and onion pie. The mince, cheese, tomato and onion pie was fantastic. It was fresh, tasty and you could taste/see everything that it was claimed to have. Someone had told me ‘it’s the best bakery in Warkworth’ so I was skeptical but it lived up to its description.nThe earlier coffee was great too!
Pastries and Pies are so good and tasty as well. Never disappoint when your craving pies and sweets as well. Price is very good as well worth it. Coffee and flat white goes well with the compliments of the staff slice of chocolate caramel cake.
Jalapeño and steak pies are amazing!!! We weren't expecting much jalapeño flavour, but it was so clearly there. The gravy was delicious and there were big chunks of meat. They were so good. We also got a carrot cake cupcake/muffin with cream cheese icing - one of the nicest carrot cakes I've had. Will definitely be coming back!
Chanced upon this place on Google. Wow, no regrets. Best pie that I have eaten in my life, tastes way better than Patrick’s pies in Rotorua. Got the steak and mushroom pie $6. The filling is generous and crust is flaky and light. Yums!
