Toilet facilities were terrible. One out of order and the other toilet available for the 100+ people there, ran out of toilet paper. Not a good experience for first timers. Kids did have fun in the mush and glug at the reserve tho.
Nice little beach with a slide in the water. No good at low tide as low tide mark is way out. Has a small reserve with bbqs and a playground.
Fabulous quiet and picturesque.nThe story of the massacre in the 18th century is pretty scary
What a beautiful hidden spot. Some great stuff put here for the public such as playground, information sign, public toilets, BBQ area, surf slide, wharf, big concrete steps by the beach front for viewing the scenery or yachting.
Great spot to get some fresh air not far from the centre of Waiuku.
