We can't say enough about the quality, style, and attention to detail at Sam's Original Art. We have 4 of Sam's prints. Love his painting style and his interpretation of Vancouver & the BC west coast. The frames are beautiful in that they are high quality and well integrated with the art, offering a subtle yet classy finish to each piece. The free shipping is a crazy bonus. And when we had some issues with the shipper nothing to do with Sam, Sam & his team were on it with multiple phone calls to resolve the issue perfectly. We highly recommend Sam's Original Art. In fact we have our eyes on one more piece to really round out our collection! :
Art is a funny thing. You see something and it either moves you or it doesn't. In my case, and for many other fortunate collectors, I saw a work by Sam and was instantly hooked. I ended up purchasing an original, entitled "Squamish Inlet". It moved me, and I was fortunate enough to snatch it up. It now hangs in my little music studio, reminding me of my own inner-artist; of the calm, peaceful nature that a talent like Sam brings to the modern world of art. Purchasing art from abroad, without physically being in the gallery was at first intimidating. But after walking me through the process, Sam and his team put me at ease. Upon receiving the work, I was once again assured that my purchase was a wise choice. The framing, the certificate of authentication, even the care with which the painting had been shipped, all attest to an artist whose business acumen is on par with his talent. This is an artist approaching the top of his game, and I cannot recommend highly enough his work to anyone wanting to own a piece of this incredible talent!
I am so happy to have found Sam's site. After several months of trying to decide which of Sam's prints I wanted for our home, I finally chose Autumn Falls. I knew it would be perfect for our room and I was not disappointed. I recently purchased Tranquil Shore from Sam's Original Art and couldn't be happier. His work of iconic Vancouver and BC locations are incredibly vibrant and a pure joy to view. Easy ordering and a very speedy delivery - I just wish whoever delivered it rang the doorbell as my print sat outside despite me being home. Act quickly if there's a piece you absolutely love as prints are limited additions.
Very easy and trustworthy site to use. Picture arrived without issues very quickly and ready to hang. For a lover of British Columbia Sam captures the essence of so much of our unique and picturesque areas. We moved to the Island and when I saw his picture of English Bay it evoked wonderful memories and I felt it was a perfect picture for our new home. Get lots of compliments and love it every time I look at it.
I first saw Sam's work on a Facebook post that showed up on my feed. I ‘liked’ his page and have been following since. I love his style, color palette and his eye for turning nature into beautiful works of art. I just knew I was going to have his work in my home. 'Tree Island' came across my feed and I really loved the scene, but I lost track and didn't recall the name. Then sometime after 'Vapor' came across and it absolutely took my breath away. "This piece of artwork IS going to be in my home. No doubt!!", I said to myself. It took about 6 weeks, I think, to get my finances in order but I now own 'Tree Island', 17 of 30 and 'Vapor', 30 of 30 << WHEW!!! I just made it!! Being in the USA, I was concerned about the artwork traveling from BC to Simi Valley, CA. The packaging to protect the two pieces was just unbelievable. I wasn't sure I was ever going to get through to the actual artwork. lol The framing is just of the utmost quality!! I can not say enough to truly express my satisfaction with Sam and SamsOriginalArt. My experience from start to finish can only be described as exemplary! I recently Feb 2023 purchased one of Sam's paintings, "The Chief." I absolutely love it! The colours, the composition... My only regret was not buying a larger version! I look at it every day, it's in my dinning room. And Sam's travel adventures sounds cool, traveling around the area getting ideas for his next paintings! I love seeing his working sketches! My painting shipped nicely and was well packaged for protection!
My wife & I talked about finding some actual & true "Artwork" for our home. She had found Sam's website and passed it along to me. We both went through the galleries finding a piece that we liked. With my wife's birthday approaching, I sort of took it upon myself to make a choice to surprise her. It was a tough choice as they all looked great. It turned out that, for whatever reason, I chose a 24x24 print of Succulent Forest. When the package arrived and we took the print out of the very adequate care taken to assure a safe journey, and we both marveled how actually seeing it & holding it made it look even better than it looked on a computer screen. Next was to find a proper place to hang it in our living room. That being done, we have received raves from everyone who has seen it. We could not be happier with the steps & choice we made to enter the realm of "Art Collectors". We will keep returning to the site and will not rule out any future purchases.
