Salut Salut is such a wonderful wine bar! Heaps of wines by the glass and regularly changing too. Very friendly staff and always helpful. Tessa is super lovely and very knowledgeable. She even remembers which wines we've tried before... On the menu they offer several sharing plates, among which a great selection of cheeses. They often have a flight of wines they offer as a blind tasting, which is fun! For people who fancy something else than wine, they've got beers, ciders and cocktails too.
Salute Salute is one of the best wine bars in Christchurch! The staffs knowledge of wine is incredible and they are very friendly. I highly recommend going in and giving the staff a description of what wines you enjoy to find something new. The food menu and cheese is perfectly paired. The environment is warm and cosy and I could stay there forever. Massive shout out to Tessa for being an incredible server. I can't wait to be back!
AMAZING!!!!! Tessa was so lovely, she helped us choose different wines and was great to chat to. The atmosphere is a hidden gem for a romantic date. The tapas was great value and so tasty. Thank you so much! A must for any wine lover.

The very best wine and tapas place in Christchurch. Not only does Tessa have an extensive wine list, she also has the knowledge to advise on the perfect drink for any visitor. Try something new or stick to your favourite, it's all good at Salut Salut.
One of the best places in Christchurch! The selection of cheeses does not disappoint in both taste and quality. The lemon lime bitters is also pretty good. Above all, the service is of top quality too! I highly recommend that you and your friends visit here if your looking for a place to hang out for a catch-up, study groups, or just cause.
One of my favourite places in Christchurch. Hole in the wall wine bar, intimate setting, magically delicious wine, range and some amazing snacky small plates. Tessa, owner is amazing, and will look after you every time!

Without a doubt, My favourite wine bar. The place you can relax and have a quiet glass of wine or take half a dozen friends and enjoy wine, food, cocktails and one of the best aparol spritz in the city. Salut Salut’s Three Cheese & Ham toasted sandwich Bikini is without comparison. Tessa really knows her wine and is just as happy to share her passion for wine with you answering all your questions, as she is to simply pour you another quality glass of your favourite French rose and leave you to enjoy the company of your guests. I also admit to utilizing Salut Salut’s off license and purchasing a few bottles of their wines that we really wanted to enjoy at home another time, as well as giving one to my Mum, that’s a 10/10 service offering. You also never know who you will bump into at Salut Salut. Always a good time
