Story

Welcome to Salty Traders, home of upcycled, handmade, waste free designs.

Growing up an avid Blue Peter fan, with happy memories of trips to the tip with Dad and always returning with something that might be useful one day combined with a sprinkling of hoarding tendencies it seems only right to use my salvaged treasure for good. Now working in the environmental industry and witnessing our wasted resources first hand this is my way of doing a small part to turn some of it into beautiful handmade, limited edition, unique products.

I am currently exploring the world of discarded pallets and the theme of 'perfect imperfection'. Tired of the mass produced wall décor using up more of the world's resources, I have created unique wall hangings each with their own quirky imperfections from perfectly good pallet wood.
