Stopped in for early lunch. West Coast Whitebait was special of the day - absolutely superb and very well priced. Nice salad and chips to go with. The coffee was so delicious that I actually enquired about the brand Gravity! Service was superb and plenty of seating.
Young James was very pleasant and a pleasure to be served by, lots of help when ordering food, that was medioka. And expensive. Take note of the dessert size for $14.00. RIPPED OFF!!!!. Our hostess wasn't very talkative when delivering our meals and I was disgusted at the state of her work smock covered in fat splatters and generally disgusting considering she was in front of the house with customers. Thank you James for making our evening entertaining and enjoyable.
Nice Chai Latte was just how I like it.. good service, nice wedges, muffin was a bit weird.. a bit crumbly and tasted a bit weird nice view though and decent overall.. 2 coffees, wedges and a muffin for $24 is not too bad really... cheers
Our Kai was absolutely Yummy : The Pancakes were nice and fluffy, the Big breakfast was very delicious. Highly recommend
Really great food. The long Island Ice Tea was delightfully lethal. The customer service was top notch. There was an issue with one of our meals but they eagerly resolved it for us and we left well fed and happy. The fried risotto balls were amazing.
This place is a disaster. Dined in midday on a Tuesday. The place was maybe half full. We ordered a pie, a bowl of chips and a flat white. The pie took half an hour to arrive and was stone cold. When I told them this the cook took it back, put it in the microwave and brought it back out. I asked for tomato sauce with the pie and instead got a bottle of tomato paste as in pizza sauce from the kitchen. The coffee arrived after 35 minutes and was... ok. The chips never arrived because, as it turns out, they were delivered to another table. The service is very poor. The food is also poor. The only saving grace is the location right on the beach.
Cafe downstairs: Large burger, under seasoned for my liking, chips were really good and overall a generous serving size. The staff were friendly and accomodating.
10 out 10! Booked upstairs for our work Christmas function and it was the best venue for our night. They were supportive and helped us planned our function within a week. The food was amazing and even let us take the left overs home. If you are looking for a venue to host your work function, this is the place. Staff were amazing as well. Thank you again team :
Food was delicious and affordable, quick service and after eating the beach is just nearby to have a strollFood: 5/5
Dined 6.30 pm 18.8.2022 Party of 5. A restaurant totally devoid of any kind of dining ambience. Zero decor. Overly bright lighting. Cold. No ambient music. One staff member to cover dinner and drinks service so service was stretched. Meals came out erratically and while some of our party received their main meals, one had to wait a long time to get his meal to the point where one of our party had already finished his main before the last person even got their meal. I noted this happened at another table as well Luke warm meals served on cold plates especially the entrees. Rice risotto seemed to be a staple on every plate from entrees to mains even when it didn’t really go with the dish that was being served Surf and Turf with rice risotto??? - weird Stuffed Chicken main - very dry. Expensive mains $38.50 for extremely average food. Not worth the prices.
