Bookings are a must due to the high volume of customers but totally worth the booking! We arrived for my uncle's 65th birthday lunch on the 23rd of September and you are welcomed by all the awesome staff smiling from ear to ear! Walk through the doors into an open space with many customers already at there booked tables. Our table was on the left of the doors in the closed off area outside. Beautiful food, coffee and absolutely great service 100% on point We will be back again Nga mihi
Salt And Pepper Cafe, It has it all with garden centre within to look at, a place to buy gifts, also fresh eggs also other goodies. The cafe it self was very good, they are very busy, so, in saying that it says they do excellent business, l can see why, the staff are very good, food was excellent, we had fish in beer batter with salad, very nice. Had to wait, but, very busy place. Good car parking, prices are pricey, but l think they are all getting that way, it is like that everywhere, nowadays, sorry. Have to pay the price. Please pay a visit to this garden centre on the highway just out of Levin Thsnkyou Louise.
Stopping here is an absolute must when passing through. The foods amazing as well as the staff. They're super friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely be back!!
Consistently delicious food, so fresh, such quick service, and beautifully presented. Staff are a delight. Beautiful setting, definitely nice to sit outside on the warmer days!
What a great café. The menu has a good selection, plus there is also cabinet food available. This was my second visit. I had the Prawns, Scallops and Bacon risotto. It was exceptional and it will be a long time before I forget it. Great service. Our order came out quickly. Reasonable prices. Oh, and good coffee. I look forward to my next visit.
Lovely coffee and gluten free cake! My friend had a cheese scone which was super delicious also. The cafe is located inside a lovely shop with lots of gifts and pretty things ! Will definitely come again to have a better look . The second time we came was 22 Dec and it was so busy with Xmas rush, but the service was quick and outstanding ! A++

Stopped here on our road trip and it was the best brunches we’ve had so far whilst traveling NZ! The open chicken sandwich and the beef burger were delicious! All the meals that came out looked amazing. Beautiful garden surroundings and the staff were all great! Definitely plan to stop here if you can! Kid-friendliness: Big kids safe grassed area with a trampoline! Parking: Plenty of easy close by parking.
What s fantastic group of businesses here. Cafe food was amazing and reasonably priced, with great service and good coffees...choc fish AND marshmallows! Great garden centre and shop, so many gift ideas, happy staff and quality but cheapest plant deals I have seen! Eggs are amazing and competitively priced too. Well done guys, we will definitely be back!!!
Walked in not realising you need to book, it was so busy and packed but the staff were kind and found a table for us. The food was gorgeous and delicious and was worth the price. The coffee was really what I needed and my experience here was one I will remember. The service was amazing and I was so happy with the kindness of the staff xx Will be back in future
