Nice, spacious and cozy cafe. Food is great, we had the bacon & eggs and salmon pies with two latte. Prices are reasonable with the final bill coming up to NZD28. The best thing? The staff are really friendly and helpful!
Toilets good. Atmosphere great and food very good. Probably a 5 but fellow diner did not like hisxeddszas much as I did. Service friendly and fast. Doing things for the community and hard to miss from road as next to a giant Salmon at Rakiaia..Food: 4/5
Right on the other side of the road to Giant Salmon. They are closed at 3.00pm. so, that is something to keep in mind. I suppose would be better to open longer on weekends. But, as a business they might have reasons to back up what they do.Food: 4/5
Stopped here for lunch on Saturday and had a lovely meal We had Salmon and chips and a cooked breakfast. They were delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. Prices were responsible. Will be back. Thanks againFood: 5/5
Great staff great food. So many more things I want to try. This will be a must stop cafe every time I pass it.Food: 5/5
They used to have amazing slices. Now I see the size has just about halved and the brownie tasted as if most of the chocolate had been left out. Really disappointing. I took my sister there and raved about the place beforehand... Felt really bad that she wasted her money there. They have lost a customer pulling this stunt.
salmon pie rly greatLuckily got the last one of that day. And cute cup of coffeelove it.
Best fish n chips! Willie and the team offer great food @an excellent price. Look out for the giant salmon on the side of the road. You can even have a cheeky wee glass with your meal
This could be the perfect cafe for travellers. It's big so you can find somewhere to sit, reasonable food and coffee, toilets and clean public toilets outside, friendly staff, is near a place kids can play - and is easily find-able because of the nearby giant salmon.
Food was a bit too greasy. Staff were friendly.
