It was our first visit to Hanmer springs and very short holiday, only one night. Especially, on Tuesday there weren't many opened restaurants, we were quite careful to choose the place to eat dinner. And, eventually we were very happy with our choice. Waitresses were very kind, and food was really yummy! Between 7 and 8pm, you can get some of cocktails 2 for 1. If we go to Hanmer springs, then we would like to have dinner here again to try other food!
Had the ribs meal, initially thought this sauce must be covering average ribs. Glad I was very wrong, the ribs were superb and the saucegot the sticky Thai was very tasty. Normally don't each much of the Coleslaw but my plate was clean. For desert got the brownie, the serving size of this is massive, could easily be shared. This is great brownie, real brownie not the cakey type, made the mistake of sharing it with my partner instead of taking it away for later. Great pub atmosphere, wish we were in the area longer to try a few of their other options.
The meat venison and steak was delicious, chips and even the pizza was good. The only thing for me that wasn't was their drinks, they were very flat! I ordered different drinks in case but all flat. Drinks are just as important as the meal.
Beautiful restaurant, good food and friendly staff. Prices maybe a bit higher, but that's to be expected in a tourist area. We stopped here for dinner where I had a pizza which was great. The only thing I don't give full stars for is the condition of the toilets, which need renovation and regular cleaning. Vegetarian options: Pizza, pasta
Absolutely delicious meals, went back a second night. Wonderful staff, excellent atmosphere. Will certainly be back when we next visit Hanmer. Highly recommended
this place is 20 out of 10 !!! loved every mouthful so much i went home and tried to replicate 1 of thier dishes. the service was spectacular and the meals for the price were definetly worth it, far from stingey and a wonderful.experience espically for it being during a busy holiday period. Thank you so much saints, you pleased a very fussy eater who critiques everything, thoroughly enjoyed
Service was good even in our large group. Full English was a bit dry so I'm not gonna give it 5 stars. Reasonably priced as it included tea or coffee. Decor was fine
Delicious large pizzas, 2 for 1 on Tuesdays. My chicken pasta was to die for. Well worth the money. Plus happy hour cocktails were a bonus.Food: 5/5
We were recommended this restaurant/bar by someone at a closing restaurant and we're so glad that they did! What a find! As a couple travelling with children and grandparents, there was a mixed pallet that needed to be catered to. There was a wide menu and the staff talked us through our choices. We lucked in and arrived on the steak night - which four of us enjoyed and the experience of the hot stones! The children chose from the kids menu and the portions were large enough without being overwhelming. A good range of food and drinks with good service! A great find!
Food was amaizng... so good didn't even get a photo of dinner. Go the stone grill ribeye and hubby stone grill pork wrapped in bacon they were both so good and dessert won also with the creme brulee. Only down fall was our waiter as he wasn't very chatty, welcoming or anything BUT the waitress that was there made up for his lack as she was awesome great service and gave us a few ideas on what to do while staying.
