The service and staff where super over attentive, the place was a little quiet for a Friday night. The wine list was pretty weak with one Chardonnay and no Rose wines on offer. The nan bread was good, the roti just didn’t taste like a roti. whilst we were given warm plates, the food itself was not that hot and got cold very quickly and the lamb rogan josh was a little watery. I would however go back purely based on the good service.
Once again a dinner in Sahara India with friends. This time we tried Prawn deep fried, so yummy with mouth watering taste. Staff are professional and good in nature. Thank you Sahara for making my day again.
Hidden gem in Cambridge. Must try. Family run business, great hospitality, cozy place, fantastic food. Lamb saag was delicious.Recommended dishes
NOT MY REVIEW IN BEHALF. so 25 $ for 10 pieces of paneer in a very runny sauce, not worth a 30-minute wait. better off traveling to hamilton to get 3 for the same price.Food: 1/5
The best cheese and garlic Naan I ever had. So much cheese and the flavour and texture was perfect with a huge size. The curry was also the best I have ever had. The chicken was marinaded all the way through you could see by the colour and flavour, and it was very moist and succulent, not dry at all. The sauce flavour is always 10/10 and they accommodate your requests as well. Always happy good service from the staff on top of all that. Never had a bad experience and this is my favourite place in nz for Indian food.
We've had takeaways from Sahara before, however, after dining in today to celebrate a special occasion, I am even more impressed. The food was a 10/10 service with a smile, the dessert was yummy, and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you!!Food: 5/5
Divine food, thoroughly enjoyed the food and will return in the future. Well flavoured with just the right amount of heat. Excellent service. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food, great service. We were driving a long way and stopped in for dinner, we called ahead and asked if we could pre order so that the food would start being cooked and they were very accomodating. Our second time stopping in and won’t be our last!
What a great little find. Awesome food and tremendous service. The restaurant is also a BYO which was good for us as we prepared for an international flight home.Food: 5/5
