William is the best coach, very professional, friendly, humorous, warm heart and patient. He'll explain the theory to you and why it happens and how to avoid it. And will learn more very practical operations than other driving schools, the price is the same as other driving schools, but the knowledge and skills learned are far more than other driving schools. I had the pleasure of having William take me through both my Class 4 truck license and forklift course. He is awesome to deal with and is very knowledgeable towards the transport industry. Really great guy and made the courses an awesome experience the whole way through!
William is an excellent instructor when it comes to driving. He is very friendly and helpful. I have learned so many useful information when it comes to driving. I took class 2 driver course and will go to him again for other classes. Also he is well aware of VTNZ processes where he helps out as well.

William is a very knowledgeable assessor. You will find out a lot of new things from him even if you have been operating machinery for a number of years. I really enjoyed doing my refresher course with him. Highly recommend.
Wonderful place to do a course to get your truck license for class 2 all the way up to your class 5 they also do F WTR D endorsement courses too i highly recommended safe driver training for anyone who want to get any of them and up skill your self.
As someone who had never driven a forklift before I found William to be a very good instructor. He came across as well informed and skilled and was able to give those of us learning the confidence that we too could soon be able to operate a forklift safely. He was able to pitch his training at our level and was patient with slow learners, like me. I came away with a solid grounding to build upon.
William is a brilliant instructor, very patient and knows his stuff. I sat the class 2 test through VTNZ, and William helped to train me beforehand, and even let me use his truck for the test. I'd definitely recommend SDT, they go above and beyond to train you!
Recently I finally got my license thanks to instructor William. A real professional, it feels like it. He explained everything in a very detailed and accessible way, so there were no problems at the exam, all without errors. William is an experienced instructor who was very patient with my driving mistakes and was able to teach me how to drive even me I passed the exam the first time and now I can drive!
