Saddle Up Equestrian-set on 25 acres in the Whangarei area run by Lindsay Attwood. Schooling, lessons, starting and facility hire are a few things offered.

Story

At Saddle Up Equestrian Lindsay Attwood strives to produce top quality mounts for competition and hacking and give quality instruction to riders. She has competed nationwide with much success in Show Jumping, Eventing, and Dressage. She has been in the NZ training squad two years in a row and she won the ESNZ scholarship, which gave her a training grant. She has been Northland Dressage Rider of the year four times and Sport Northland Dressage rider of the year.

Lindsay's true passion lies in Dressage and over the past 17 years has been perfecting her riding style, adjusting her seat to get the best out of her horse. Introducing young children to riding and training up and coming riders by utilising all her experience brings her joy and this is an area she excels in. She has an amazing, gentle way with horses and is able to convey how to improve the horse to the rider, and then finding the best way to help them together.

Lindsay has an awesome way with young horses. Her gentle but firm approach to starting a horse ensures a happy and safe mount. She has patience, determination, and can overcome any issue she is faced with. Lindsay has a very good success rate and has many happy customers located all over the North Island.

Private Lesson $55 Per Hr
Group Lesson (max 4 riders) $35 1 1/2 Hr
Arena Hire $10 Per Hr
Round Pen Hire $5 Per Hr
Schooling $220 Per Week (extra $20 for hay or provide own)
