Extremely tasty, massive portion and lived that the packaging is leak proof you'll see why when you have one. Ordered Souvlaki and honestly best I've had in a long time. Extremely satisfied with this restaurant.Food: 5/5
So tasty. Had a chicken and lamb Souvlaki. One of the tastiest things I've eaten in NZ. So good, in fact that I went back the next 2 days for lunch while I was in CHCH. Highly recommended, Absolutely delicious food.Food: 5/5
Delicious Middle Eastern eats!! Ordered the vegetable salad with chicken and lamb. Perfectly seasoned meat, topped off with hummus and tzatziki yogurt. Very affordable too. They were able to accommodate us since all the other restaurants near our hotel were already closed, great customer service! Will definitely come back when I’m in the Christchurch area!!
After visiting one of Christchurch's many museums, I became hungry, but with so many options in the city center area, I knew that I could easily spend an hour trying to decide. After brief deliberation, it was Sabry Souvlaki that came out on top. I had never partook in a souvlaki meal before, but after seeing the tantalizing pictures online, I knew that I was in for a treat. I ordered the large hot lamb souvlaki and it came out in vessel akin to getting an ice cream, amusing me to no end; but it also proved to be incredibly useful because it made it easier to eat with my hands, without worrying about making a mess. As for the flavor, holy cow or lamb, in this case, it absolutely hit the spot. The meat was tender and savory, the wrap was soft, and the sauces complimented everything well hot was not very spicy, but that might just be me. As for the restaurant, it can be a little crowded during the lunch rush, but the fact that people are wanting to eat here means that it's worth a visit. The staff was friendly and made the experience just that much better. I am now a souvlaki fan and I have Sabry to thank for it.
The price vs the flavours didn't match paid $13 and got something I'd be happier if was cheaper. Was overpowering hummus and I didn't want hummus so not many choices on what goes into your wrap. Was also spread weird so you didn't get a fair amount of food per bite
Sooooo good. Fresh, full of flavours! Giant portions. My friend had a falafel and she said it was the best one she ever had.
Amazing staff amazing food very well priced, huge portions. Staff were nice enough to let me charge some stuff up behind the counter as I’m travelling through town
Just got a medium souvlaki, and medium meat on chips off ubereats, it tastes so premium and the sizing is incredible they give you so much its fantastic was so happy to open it! Delivered chips are still so crispy, meat doesn’t taste cheap at all. Tzatziki sauce is amazing. I swear by this souvlaki place from now!!
Ordered their kebab meal at 2am on Uber and it was damn delicious, fresh and high quality even in the a.m. Cheers guys was awesome
I ordered medium spicy souvlaki, i got a disgusting piece of pita bread drenched in tomato sauce when i asked the lady if that was the norm she responded rather rudely that tomato sauce is served as the medium spicy sauce i did not see this communicated anywhere on their menu, she advises that it is the norm and next time i should go for spicy, well there is definitely not going to be a next time. Offered no resolution and laughed on the phone.
