It is staffed by qualified and experienced teachers and offers education and care for children from 6 weeks to five years of age.

Rutherford Preschool is licensed for 40 children per day: A maximum of 10 children in Infant Care and 30 in the Preschool.

Such dedicated teachers, who genuinely care about the tamariki in their care. Great learning environment where kids are encouraged to play as they wish; outside, inside with water, sand, paint, you name it. Small class size means you get to know the other families too. We’re looking forward to our youngest going there next year as Rutherford really helps in bringing out their personality through making them feel safe and heard.
We LOVE Rutherford. Caring teachers, beautiful safe grounds with plenty of shade, and just such wonderful values. My eldest has been there 2 years and my younger will join him next year :-
These amazing ladies have looked after our girls with such care, love and professionalism. We could’t ask for a better preschool. An absolute gem of a centre xx
