We had a delicious coffee at Ruth's Kitchen Shop this afternoon. Shared a fine gluten free snack with the drinkfrom the cabinet. The staff know their local customers and are friendly, genuine and helpful. We liked the rustic, natural setting of the cafe and the wide range of kitchen accessories in the shop. We went with a couple who go there often, and I can see why! Highly recommended.
We choose to visit Ruth Pretty Cafe n Kitchen shop today. Devine day to go here. The kitchen shop has so many stunning items to purchase The lil cafe had several sweet treats and a few savoury choices. Yum coffee We choose Salmon on Rye, Ginger Gem,Choc muffin & Folded Tortilla. ALL YUM! So quiet out in a country setting. Many different seating choices. Toilets on premises. Great customer service. Thanks Highly Recommend
It was such an amazing experience getting married at Ruth Pretty. We had a day that was better than I had ever imagined, the staff and food and location were perfect. Even when we had unexpected rain on our day, it was no problem for everyone and they had a perfect wet weather option for us. They were incredible! Definitely a venue and caterer I would highly recommend for any event.

Don’t waste your money with high tea at Ruth Pretty catering -a poor excuse for a high tea experience. My suggestion is the Intercontinental hotel in Wellington you won’t be disappointed it’s elegance plus! And beautifully presented!
We went with a group to the Singapore lunch. Food was great, service was great but we all froze. There needs to be a better heating system as we were told it had to be turned down as it would trip. Not helpful when all we could think of was how cold we were. It was a shame as everything else was great.

Beautiful, serene and elegant spot for a light lunch or coffee and cake. Their garden room is lovely, and surprisingly cool on a hot day despite all the glass! The service is great, polite and unobtrusive. And the food is exquisite! Beautiful spot for a small wedding reception. Takes group bookings if you have something special to plan for. Lovely little homeware shop too, with unique gifts and gadgets for the kitchen. A wonderful place to escape to for an hour.
We took a group of ladies to Ruth Pretty's for a morning tea yesterday. What a treat! The pastries were amazing and the staff were lovely to deal with and incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved that there were several GF options on the menu as well.
Feel surprisedly cheerful to discover the catering Cafe& Shop on the road trip, the family business model is inspiring, and offer people the country side life style well.
