My experience with Rustic Grain comes from their work at the Jesuit Archives & Research Center. We have a very modern building, but we still wanted tables for our patrons that had weight and warmth. Something a little more traditional than other pieces in the building, but still fitting with the overall feel. Rustic Grain was able to create the classic library table we were envisioning! After seeing the craftsmanship of the tables, we knew that any exhibit cases we could simply purchase from a catalog would feel like an afterthought and pale in comparison to the tables. We contacted Rustic Grain again to see if they would be willing to work with us on additional pieces, and they designed and built two beautiful styles of exhibit cases. The work is exceptional, and the team is friendly and fun! Whether you know exactly what you want, or you need some design guidance, they will create beautiful pieces you love to show off!
Rustic Grain is the absolute best!! My table is my favorite piece of furniture in my house. It is everything I said I wanted and more!!
We ordered custom tables and exhibit cases for our space almost five years ago from Rustic Grain and still love them! The RG team worked through all kinds of designs for us, and returned to build our custom exhibit cases after it became clear nothing ready-made would match the quality and warmth of our RG tables. We get constant compliments on both sets of pieces, and loved worked with the kind people at Rustic Grain.
I've worked with Rustic Grain on a few projects and am highly satisfied with their product beautiful craftsmanship, flexibility in timelines, ability to meet my needs as a client and their support on site. Not only does the team help with their deliverables, they have a work ethic that if help is needed outside of their scope, they will jump in to assist. This is by far the best woodcraft furniture maker shop in St. Louis. Very friendly, Honest and hard working staff. If you are looking for someone to build custom wood furniture or make any other king of hardwood projects these are your guys! Best price for what you get.
Beautiful tables, chairs and furnitures a bit everywhere !!! like the zoo of Saint Louis, kid playground Urban Fort in Saint Louis, shops... All table are uniques and made in USA with a nice identification of the wood/barn location. i love be concept.
We just completed furninshing our lake cabin and we believed that the focal points of the cabin would be either the lake view from every window, the stone fireplace or the cedar plank walls. However, people who enter the cabin first mention the unique take in the dining/great room. This one-of-a-kind creation was made by Rustic Grain. It is a magnificient herringbone designed table with matching chairs and benches, made from reclaimed barn wood. Working with Tim & Matt at Rustic Grain was a pleasure. They are not furniture manufacturers, they are true artisans that treat each creation like a masterpiece, I was so happy I have requested they design another item for our cabin!
The conference table Rustic Grain built for us is amazing. It is a piece of art. Every time we have someone into our conference room the first thing out of their mouth is always " I love the table, Where did you get it?" It is diffidently a statement piece. It is important for us to support local business and encourage up-cycling and reduce waste along with bringing something so inherently authentic to our credit union. It is our own little piece of history. Tim and Matthew were great to work with, thank you for the beautiful table.
Thank you, Rustic Grain, for providing information for us to research and learn about the area and the barn that provided wood for our dining table. Our wood began as the building material for a barn over 160 years ago in Missouri. It tells it's story through pitting and saw marks acquired over the years. Now our children and grandchildren will get to add their history to the wood. Our table is so beautifully handcrafted it will be gladly welcomed by the next generation. Who knows how long it will remain in our family! Maybe another 160 years!!!
The guys were super easy and fun to work with. They LOVE wood and it comes out in everything they do. I appreciated being able to choose the wood for our various projects they did.
