We used Russells for curtains and blinds in our new build near Cromwell the whole house - lounge, media room and bedrooms. Their team has been amazing to work with, from Jody, their sales consultant based in Wanaka, to their installation team - all top notch. The final product is so beautiful and brings me joy every time I walk in the door after work! Pricing was good - I got three quotes in total for comparison. Most importantly, I felt like Jody took the time to listen and get me what I wanted within the budget we had set. Very happy to recommend them.
I used Russells for blinds and curtains in my new build in a rural area near Fairlie. They were fantastic! Everything from consultation to installation was top notch and I could not fault them. Communication was brilliant. Highly recommended.

Paid up front for some very expensive skylight honeycomb blinds in May 2022 and took months to get installed September. Have been installed and have had nothing but problems and unacceptable service - frankly this company is a joke; a very sad joke - is now February 2023 and still not resolved!!!!
Consultation. Amazing Blinds. Amazing Installation . Not impressed Fixing of installation , still Not right. Already multiple holes in new walls. Not happy. Not square. Asked to email pictures , pictures do not show well enough. You would think someone would come and look for themselves.but, no. Also asked rep/ consultant for stoppers for blinds so they don’t over roll. Explained exactly what they are… rather than sending I was asked to email pictures. If I had bloody pictures, I wouldn’t be asking for the stoppers. I’ve given up. Aftercare service is garbage . I should have just bought budget blinds online
Great from start to finish! I needed the whole house done fast before new tenants arrived and they came back to me quickly with good options and in no time had a sharp price and time frame. Great emails keeping me informed throughout. Really happy with the end result and all done while I was overseas so very trustworthy and professional.
Fantastic service, I could not ask for more from Russells I really enjoyed the whole process with getting our curtains for a bay window from Russells. Tina Emeny the in-home consultant communicated well with me way before coming to do the in-home consultation. She actively listed to my requests, colors, fabrics and brought with her many beautiful fabrics to choose from. The whole process was a fantastic experience, and I did not feel rushed about choosing the curtains. And a big thank you to the whole team at Russells for such a great job. I could not wait for Paul to finish the installation and marvel at the beautiful curtains. I will definitely use Russells again for future treatments of the windows in our home. Definitely, I will make sure that friends and relatives know about it too. Thank you everyone. It was worth the wait to get the curtains, which I know was longer with the recent lockdown.

Just for transparency’s sake - this company is the SAME company as Bargain Blinds, owned by Bill Liddell. Just want to make that easily accessible to people like me who need to fill in a disputes tribunal form against this company like me and can’t find an address, name, contact number etc for bargain blinds. Beware: these people will rip you off and you will end up with nothing to show for it
