I love my new drapes, they have made my lounge and dining room look really lovely and welcoming. My consultant was Lisa Nolan in Christchurch and she was amazing. She went out of her way to help me. I would definitely recommend Lisa to anyone needing new drapes.
Beautiful product and amazing service. Having previously had a terrible experience with Lahood for my house I was keen to use another company for our office space - Russell's did an amazing job on our designer studio. The product and service was outstanding. Will definitely be working with them in the future on other projects.
Hello we had our curtains in our whole house replaced a few years ago and the service was excellent, and all the sewing and pleats were neat and and tidy. Loved the new rails and metal hooks compared to the plastic. But unfortunately I have to add this negative as would dislike someone feeling the same as I and to think twice about their choice. I don't recommend the velvet like fabric at all, and looks patchy, also to wipe any little makes I have to wipe upwards the grain goes up instead of being able to brush downwards, and doesn't clean easily. Even I N a rooms that are hardly used the fabric shows dust and environment marks. Would still use this company as good pricing and reliable service, but would choose differently next time.
I was super happy with the service I received from Jody and her team. They were professional, had great suggestions and turned my order around quickly to help me out. I love how the house looks now and would happy recommend Russells to anyone in the Hawea area.
Was recommended Russell’s by my parents, who did their whole house a couple of years ago. I’m in Porirua, and Amanda came to consult -she was fabulous. So organised and understood exactly what I was looking for. The curtain and blind were reasonably priced and also arrived two weeks earlier than originally quoted so very speedy. We opted to install ourselves as we weren’t sure when the bedroom would be ready, and it was very straightforward disclaimer my husband is a builder!. So happy to finally have them up, they look fabulous and the quality is so much better than any other curtains we’ve had!
Despite the great service by my salesperson Cherie Liddell who patiently helped me decide what curtains I wanted for my living room and the installers, I cannot offer anything but 1 star for the overall experience with Russells Curtains and Blinds. They seriously need to review their after-sales support process. Once the deposit was paid, I received confirmation of receipt on 17th of April and that an email from a scheduler that she would reach out again with dates and a reminder for the balance payment. But then, I had silence, no further updates. When all prior communication was via email, I received a call around 10th of May to say I had been uncontactable and that they had been trying to secure an appointment for the installation. No email was sent after the call. On the morning of the install, 30th of May, I get a message from the installer confirming that he would be there at a different time. 15 minutes after the appointment started, I finally get an email reminding me about the visit and that the remainder of the payment had to be paid prior to the installation. What made it worse is that there was a mistake and the installer had to return with the correct item. I get a call during a busy period at work by an unknown person, asking about payment. A knee-jerk reaction was for me to inform the caller that there was a mistake reported and that I would settle the payment after it had been rectified. Emails then followed from this person, who turns out to be a Regional Coordinator not the original person that emailed me after the deposit was made, clarifying at first that the agreement was full payment prior to install. That I would be held at ransom and the incorrect rail would not be replaced until I made the full payment. Not to delay the process further by then its been almost a month and half since I paid my deposit, I made the payment and then when I suggested they review this clause in the event of a mistake, asking, "... it is concerning that you require full payment yet cannot assure your customer that our order will be made without error." This Regional Coordinator responded with, "Russells Blinds and Curtains will ensure the situation is rectified to satisfaction. Russells Blinds and Curtains would not have been around for as long as it has if we did not have customer care." As a former Installation Coordinator myself, I was floored by the response! It was obvious this person did not do her due diligence and review my case file to see that there were so may issues with the after sales process. No one had contacted me to update me on the status of my order. No one had reached out to me to confirm in writing that the appointment had been made for the install. No one had reminded me that the balance payment has to be made prior to the install. Yet she spoke of their customer care! I had raised this with my salesperson and apologised that her excellent service had to be marred by this coordinator. I hope the Management at Russells Blinds and Curtains investigates the issue and offer any customer facing staff some re-training about how to deal with customers. Once again, a pity bad service by one person had to affect my overall experience with the company!
Quick service, very competitive pricing, very helpful in choosing the most appropriate blinds and curtains as well as colors and styles that suited us and our decor. Very friendly and quick installer and very responsive to a few changes we asked for. Highly recommended
Love my curtains and blinds. Jodi-Anne was incredibly helpful, professional and made my decision making such a positive experience. We have beautifully made curtains, that complement our home, added some great privacy blinds, and the whole process was excellent from start to finish, including the installers, who took real pride in their work. And didn't break the bank. Highly recommend starting with Jodi-Anne and going from there!
Before I made my purchase I checked out several companies, for their products and charges before choosing Russells. I chose Russells due to the quality, choice of fabrics and the speed with which they produced the blinds I needed to reduce the amount of troublsome strong sunlight through several large windows. The staff were great to deal with, the service excellent and the cost very competitive. Thank you Russells. Great job!
