My dear 78 year old Father went down to the Ruru Lawn Cemetery on Christmas morning 2015 to place flowers on his Father, Mother & Brother's graves. He went back the next day boxing day andnall the fresh unopened lilies he placed at all three graves had been taken out of the water vessels and were stolen! Does this not make you sick to the core ... to all those reading this? Sadly therenare those that have no conscience ... good luck to them when its their turn to depart this world!
Just woke up here with a monumental hangover and no memory of coming to a graveyard. I don't even know any Kiwi's let alone dead ones. The park is lovely and there are water fountains close at hand.
I am heartsore to see the state of the cemetery where both my Parents are interred and another four dear old friends. The soldiers areas ok and I have 3 friends buried in close vicinity so why is 60% such an over grown weedy mess?
Sourced block and plot number but as nothing is marked impossible to find relatives grave. New work being done but did not help us. Nearly two hours spent searching.
