Ruby Lou Floral Design

I met Ruby at the Auckland Plant Market a few years ago and was instantly obsessed with her style and floral arrangements. From beginning to end, Ruby was a delight to work with as our wedding florist. After my initial enquiry she immediately sent through mood boards, colour palettes and a detailed quote. That was very helpful as I had no idea on the specific type of flowers I wanted and felt very overwhelmed by the whole wedding planning process. After countless emails and two long zoom meetings, we were able to pin it down and really create my vision. Communication was always stellar and we were messaging up until the day before the wedding. Initially, I really wanted a neutral palette with minimal colour, however overtime I realised I wanted more colour and Ruby was so accommodating to the change. The result was a neutral palette with pops of blush and lilac colours. There were minimal greenery and many textures including Gypsophila, fluffy peonies and roses. The flowers looked absolutely beautiful on the day and we received many great compliments. I loved my bouquet so much I am having it preserved. If only flowers could last forever. Thank you again to Ruby and her team, they made my floral dreams come true.

We had wonderful Ruby look after all our floral wedding requirements after our original vendor double booked us. We were so grateful to have this incredibly, lovely and talented florist become our go to lady. She is gentle, caring and on our zoom guided through everything asking what we wanted and suggesting some ideas also. She them came back with a vison of photos for us and we were thrilled. We had flowers for arches, flowers for signs, garlands on tables, bouquets etc and they were just gorgeous. Our venue commented to us the following day that she took aged ensuring everything was perfect! Our hair and makeup ladies raved about her when doing our hair so she is known around wedding circles. She gives you confidence as she is so calm and methodical. Cannot recommend her more highly..the best!!!!!!

Ruby was incredible from the moment we started planning. We gave her a colour pallet and let her do the rest, she knows her stuff! I was so excited to see my bouquet and our arch way florals. She also made a beautiful piece for the bar. It was more beautiful than we could have dreamed of. The colours were perfect! Ruby also gave us great tips and suggestions for other areas of our wedding planning, and we were recommended and used some other very talented vendors through her. Highly recommend using ruby floral! Ruby was the kindest and most sweetest person to deal with leading up to the wedding she was constantly checking in with me to make sure I was ok and not freaking out to much Now to the flowers our flowers for the wedding we’re absolutely stunning! I think I gave her abit of creative control and that was the best decision I ever made because our floral pieces were amazing I was in awe! I remember walking down the isle and I saw our arch piece for the first time I was actually shocked so not only does she put together the most amazing pieces but she is also an absolute pleasure to deal with I would 100% use and recommend her to everyone and anyone!
