Fantastic view of the hen and chicks /  Whangarei heads. Some of the best sand in the world and the beautiful Pacific ocean. All backed up by Northland's finest surf patrol.

They are doing a good job, unfortunately they are not staffed all year long. For a visit to Ruakaka Beach, you can use their parking lot very well, it's open all year long.

Lovely place for a picnic. close to a motor camp and heaps of room for parking

There are soft sand and is a long beach.You can fishing and catch the crab.

Life guard was really friendly. Even though they were closing down. He let me know, then said how safe the beach was that day.
