Ruakaka Recreation Centre is a community facility for sports and recreation activities.
Our Centre has a Unisex gym and a separate Ladies gym both of which have 24/7 access. Casual users can access the gym for $2 on Monday to Friday 8am to 2pm, Thursdays from 8am to 6pm. Other activities include Light Circuit Fitness class, Yoga, Stretching, Tai Chi, Chi Kung, Make a Scene drama classes, for small children Music & Play, Karate and Indoor Bowls. There is a Country Music club meeting on the 1st Monday of the month and the Over 60's also meet every 4th Friday. The Bream Bay Association Football Club and Bream Bay Squash Club are based at our Centre. The casual use of the squash court is possible Monday to Friday between 8am and 1pm.
