A great very small settlement on a wonderful harbour. There doesn't seem to be a grocery shop here and so supplies need to be brought in although Kawhia is only a ten minute drive away.

Headed out for a drive to Aotea Beach whilst staying in Kawhia.
Such a beautiful harbour uncrowded , and not far from Kawhia, in fact the walk from Aotea to Kawhia is really nice along Ocean beach and only takes a couple of hours
Awesome harbour with nice remote beaches. Current is like a steam train.
