My recent experience dealing with the reception staffNikki at Royal Heights Medical Centre has been quite disappointing. I found the receptionists asking excessive questions, and at times it felt like they were trying to act on behalf of the doctor rather than simply assisting with booking and basic enquiries. Their approach came across as unhelpful and lacking in proper customer-service training.nnThere were moments where the communication felt unnecessarily difficult, and I did not feel respected as a patient. I strongly believe the centre should review the training and professionalism of their front-desk staff so patients can have a smoother, more respectful experience.
Stay away!!!!!nIf you have other options, don’t enrol with this practice. Wait over one hour for your appointment is just poor practice.n9 out of 10 times, they are running late. So late that I had to take my sick daughter home after waited 65mins.nThey wanted us to call 111, for something not considered as an emergency.nSTAY AWAY!!
One of the receptionists, a woman who wears glasses, was very rude and impolite, as was one of the nurses. Their behavior was shocking, and I cannot believe patients are treated this way. It was a horrible experience, and in my opinion, they should not be working in a clinic where compassion and professionalism are expected. I am seriously considering to change my GP, because of those rude staff.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kingsley for over 20 years, and I can truly say he has been the best family doctor I could have ever asked for. He has always shown great care, compassion, and professionalism, treating me not just as a patient but as a person.nnSince he is retiring this month, I’m not sure if I will ever find another doctor quite like him. His guidance and thorough approach have given me confidence and comfort through every stage of life.nnThank you, Dr. Kingsley, for your dedication and kindness over the years — I will always remain grateful.
Worst experience with a doctor surgery imaginable. On first visit, Doctor Lim messed up my prescriptions so I had to go back to get them corrected. Second visit, he refused to refer me to Auckland hospital for surgery I needed urgently until I threatened to take myself and complain. I was admitted for surgery in Auckland that day. Third time I tried to book the doctor to get travel vaccines I was told the nurse oversaw them, so was made an appointment with her. Went in waited half an hour while she was in her break only to be told the doctor had to prescribe them and wasn’t working that day. I had go back the next day and was left waiting for over 40 mins, and the surgery was empty. By the time they called me I’d already driven to a vaccine clinic on the North Shore. Sooo terrible
