We visited Royal Billy Point, a stunning coastal spot located in the Bay of Islands, New Zealand. It offers breathtaking views of the surrounding islands, where we had a picnic. A great dog on leash spot to watch the sun set or rise. Heaps of sitting to take in the views. Clean public toilets close at sunset white beach sand, great playground for kids and heaps of parking. Great freedom camping location as well. Highly recommend!
Wonderful spot with spectacular views of the surrounding area and MT Paku. I really enjoyed my visit here, a beautiful park on one side and the beach on the other, couldn't ask for more! The boat ramp here is fantastic, it looks to be an all tide ramp which is all concrete. There is a public BBQ here but its closed off atm due to the current situation. It's also a great place for sunset photography. The site is also available for a 2 night stay in self contained campers. Check out my other review on Mt Paku!
