Drive the extra 30 minutes from Ocean Beach car park freedom camping! This is way more private and the views are 10 out of 10. The sunset and sun rises are epic. If you visit during the down season you might even score this spot to yourself. Public toilet closes at sunset. Highly recommended!

Great freedom camping right on the beach. You have a fantastic view of the ocean and sunrise. The site is secluded and very quiet. There are only four sites, which fill up quickly, so get there early 2 p.m. or earlier. A ranger comes by early in the morning to check the rules. There are public restrooms and a cold outdoor shower, which are open 24 hours although the sign says it closes at 7 p.m.. Highly recommended!
