Very impressive library, spacious, modern and versatile. Disable access friendly and internal lift is available. Multiple levels inside the building and good if not a huge range of books available. Ample street parking nearby, kids playground out in front. Good place for visiting.
Very modern feel and many Maori features to this building, inside and out. This is a must see next time you visit Rotorua. Well manicured gardens and well placed modern art pieces through the area outside, giving a relaxed atmosphere for people of all ages. Truly a well appointed area in the heart of Rotorua.
An awesome library in the middle of CBD behind tourist centre office. Very well designed building lots of natural light. The lay out in the building makes it easy to move around and find books,lots of places to sit down and take a load off The staff are always friendly and helpful A,wide range of reading material a pc centre upstairs. Totally reccommend whether a resident or visitor
My two star review is based ONLY on the fact that the photocopier and printer is almost always out of operation. Would highly advise ringing ahead to check if that’s what you are going there for.
A great library. A great children's area. Loved it that you had a sensory area for those little ones who need it.
The library is open to all ages plus hosts things like chess competitions for children. Meeting rooms are available for hire. Comfortable temperature is maintained. Masks are no longer required.

Huge library! I didn't come for the books to be fair but there are so many spots to work from, the wifi is great, and the staff very friendly.
Spacious, lots of seats, very peaceful and quiet
We come here once a week with the kids, huge range of books covering every base imaginable. Great spot set up for kids to sit and read, open and light. Friendly, helpful staff. Love it.
