A huge shout out to Darren and the young lady working alongside him on Thursday afternoon who helped a confused Nana who was trying to find an address in Rotorua on her way from Tauranga. The young lady for printing out and highlighting maps and for Darren who was kind enough to personally escort me to the address saving me a great deal of anxiety and stress. They both really went above and beyond
We are back visiting family and I wanted my son to experience fishing like I did growing up. I brought him a rod similar to what I had as a kid that was cheap but lasted. The rod lasted ten minutes and the faulty eyelet had pulled away from the rod. Staff were very defensive and accusing us of miss treating the rod if this was the case I would have taught my son a harse lesson. But they would not let me talk and manager was patronising. After buying a season pass fishing for ten minutes kind of spoilt the great kiwi outdoor experience for my 10 year old son.
If I could give a minus star review I’d give them minus 5 starsnCustomer service is absolutely disgustingnBuyers be ware they do not shop here. There’s better places to get your outdoor needs
Pricey but good service from staff.
Large store with huge selection. Prices aren't especially sharp but sometimes you just need something now and they have it in stock. Opening another branch or Owhata way soon. Hope that one will have a better vibe.
