We booked the Ultimate Canopy Tour and used a 12% voucher for Tripadvisor and really enjoyed every single second if it. The tour guides are young men, who are very helpful, kind and also make sure the vibe was nice and funny all the time. We never felt unsafe and the instructions were very clear. The tour was about 3.5 hours long, there are three spots where they take free pictures for you and they also provide water if needed. There are some stairs and walking involved, but we managed just fine even tho we aren't very fit. They also provide jackets and of course all the gear needed - so don't take any bags, purses with you they get locked up by the staff. Just your phone and your medication if needed. We definitely recommend this tour. It's an unforgettable experience and so worth the money!! 10/10
Had a great time with the Ultimate tour! Are guides Ash and Shane were very friendly and professional. They had us covered every step of the way, including stepping into thin air! Got the original canopy tour as a birthday gift for my partner. It was a lot of fun trekking and going through ziplines. The views are breathtaking and definitely worth the adrenaline rush! Another thing i like is their conservation work to preserve the forest and the birds. Lastly our guides Sam and Jess were amazing and made sure we are safe. Highly recommended!
Everyone at the Rotorua Canopy Tours are friendly. We were welcomed warmly, educated about where we would be going, what we would be doing, and what each piece of equipment was for. Our tour guides Ash and Steve were phenomenal through the whole tour. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all sorts of questions. It was a plus that Ash was able to answer my questions about the different birds. Steve also gave me the courage after he demonstrated to put a mealworm on my tongue so one of the birds in the forest would take it. It is absolutely an experience I will forever remember. I can't wait to come back and do the ultimate tour.
We had the most amazing time on our Original Canopy Tour. We started off as a group of 4 and unfortunately the couple with us called it quits early despite our guides best efforts and support, so we were fortunate enough to have a very exclusive tour! This made for an incredible experience with our tour guides Sam and Jesse - who were both so knowledgeable on all things related to the forest, conservation and New Zealand history and full of fun and banter. They were the perfect mix of professional, and friendly which made the experience 100x better! The ziplines were extremely fun, but the forest itself was incredible - you can really see the difference the conversation efforts have made to the ecosystem. A real highlight was seeing and feeding all the birds! We will definitely be back to do the Ultimate Canopy Tour one day!
After a few time changes to my adventure I was able to do this tour and it was well worth the inconvenience! This is a must do event when you get to Rotorua! Took the Ultimate path and it is an amazing guided tour of a beautiful part of New Zealand. I didn't only get to do a safe ziplining adventure with great leads, but learned so much about what New Zealand is trying to do to preserve and restore this beautiful land. They are leading by example! Over 2.5km of ziplining, cable bridges and stairs and an amazing 3 hours walk through beautiful landscape.
So fun, definitely worth the experience. I’ve been on a lot of zip lining courses in my life and this was definitely one of the best ones. Great experience! All of my kids enjoyed it especially my little one who just turned to 6! Vincent and Shane are extremely nice and welcoming people and Vincent encouraged my little one and calmed him when he felt a bit scared. The overall experience was absolutely amazing! Really great experience up the canopy of the Fern and Rimu trees! We had an amazing experience zipping and walking the swing bridges while nature bathing in the forest and feeding the Robin birds Thanks for awesome adventures and keep up the good work team!
My partner brought me here to celebrate my birthday and it was the best experience ever!! Awsome tour guides, beautiful sceneries, the ziplines are friends awsome and thrilling.
