A very modern style of decor at the airport. Very welcoming and clean. Plenty of seats to wait for incoming flights. Departure and Arrivals well sign posted. Good coffee and array of cakes/snacks etc. Shop sells an assortment of lollies/snacks etc but be warned can be very expensive!
It's a very small airport, there is not much variety of stores. And only one cafe to grab food from which is expensive if you are traveling on a budget. It is also 40 minutes away from the main town so if travelling by foot or by taxi. It maybe easier to plan ahead. The plus side is the staff are very helpful.
Wow make over /layout is very cool & calm, colour's are nice, overall very relaxing and Quiet - just what you need before your flight - Congrats & well done!!
Primo a professional friendly and caring team at the check in at Rotorua airport impressed with the ladies how they work together their polite and willingness to understand and help me out with my grand niece great attitude thank you ladies you are awesome.
Rotorua has the best lakes parks and awesome restaurants.. One street next to Novotel,Ibis and lake front is named eat street bcos its all fine dinning
Family friendly environment. Love the whanau room really handy for families with young children and handicap children with sensory needs.

They could have a rental car key box near check in. They should also have a koru lounge.
