You don't have to be big. Nice, small, friendly airport. Just watch your carry-on and checked bag size. Checked bags 23 kg, and for the carry-on 7 kg you can have a small purse or small backpack Lunch was a tasty snack, grilled ham and cheese, and ice cream. You can have a brew, too.
The wifi is not here working. The cafe charges for a cup of hot water... First time I've ever paid for hot water.
Pros: it's small, convenient, clean, with good services for its size =a cafe and a convenience store, decent seating options. Best airport in Rotorua.nnCons: it's small, services good only for its size. No gates - tarmac access only.
Heaps of parking. 1 hour free then pay $2 for 30mins parking very cheap. Not busy that's good. Staff very fast. Shower here. Toilets very clean.
A very modern style of decor at the airport. Very welcoming and clean. Plenty of seats to wait for incoming flights. Departure and Arrivals well sign posted. Good coffee and array of cakes/snacks etc. Shop sells an assortment of lollies/snacks etc but be warned can be very expensive!
