We're not that keen on the chips here as they're often flabby. The fish is nice and fresh but the batter is often soggy. Don't really get why this is - the previous owner could deliver crispy chips and batter every time. The burgers are great though - tasty with good quality ingredients yet still reasonably priced. Overall good, but wish it was great.
Food quality varies from decent to terrible, seems to be getting worse and worse tho, since we now live local we've kept coming back hoping it will improve but enough is enough. The last few burgers have been plain and boring, consisting of very minimal salad, we ask and pay for pineapple added, they write it on the package but no pineapple in sight. We've had hotdogs that are just oily sausages with see through batter, they seem to run out of ingredients and don't bother telling you just hand it over, and take your money, from now on I'm travelling the extra miles to maunu for a decent meal
We stopped by this place to get cash out after realizing the gas station next door didn’t take PayWave—and we were running on empty. They typically don’t do cash withdrawals due to low turnover, but the staff kindly made an exception. While we were there, we grabbed some hot chips and a cheeseburger, and wow—what a surprise! The patties were made fresh with real mince, the veggies were crisp, and the sauce was perfectly balanced. The chips? Piping hot and absolutely delicious. Incredible service and even better food—highly recommend!

Plenty of food for price unfortunately nothing was to our personal taste. Everything seemed excessively oily, potentially need to change the oil as the food tasted like well used oil. Had heard good things but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. Hopefully a one off. Service was fine, atmosphere little outdated.
