Very popular watering hole with older folk and the sports mad. Even though the outdoor seating is next to the car park, it catches the afternoon sun and is a great spot to sit and chat.
Awesome English style pub. Staff are not the friendliest though, more interested in locals than new comers. Food is a bit pricey for what you get, looks better than it tastes.
Great catch up with family from Palmerstin North. And a few pints of Guinness, enough to get a tee shirt. Nice.

What a great place to enjoy a meal and a casual drink. Cosy atmosphere, great vibe and good seating. Not to mention its located in the middle of free car park. Had a great time here and would definitely recommend.

Took my 13yo here for a birthday meal. The place has a nice atmosphere and fairly decent pub fare. The staff were quite dismissive however and we felt hustled out without being offered dessert menu and drinks.
