It was our first time visiting to have my son's ears checked. Unfortunately, both of us are unwell with a virus, and I was running a high fever. We arrived 15 minutes late, as I had misunderstood the appointment time due to not feeling well.nnWhen we arrived, the receptionist informed us that we couldn’t see the doctor because we were late. They said the best they could offer was for a nurse to see us. The nurse then raised her voice at me about being late and said she couldn’t help, as only emergency appointments with the doctor were available. She didn’t consider my son's ear issue an emergency and advised us to go to a pharmacy to have his ears checked.nnI’m unwell—possibly with COVID—and yet they told me it was okay to go into the community. It would’ve taken just two minutes to check my son’s ears. This was a terrible experience ever.
We had a very disappointing experience with one of the doctors. She did not properly investigate my 1-year-old, who had chest congestion, a yellowish runny nose, and even a minor burn on his face. Instead of examining him thoroughly, she kept repeating that he would be fine in 4–8 weeks. We found her attitude and approach utterly unacceptable.
My Doctor and the nurses amazing, but they need to look at some, not all, of the ladies on the front desk and explain that dealing with people is part of the job! Nothing worse than feeling sick, but still making an effort to be friendly and getting a rude person.
I have had my doctor since I was a child and she is lovely but this medical centre is now an absolute joke. You have to have 2 months notice of an illness so you can book an appointment. You ring for an emergency appointment and get told by a receptionist who has no medical training there are none. It’s appalling. They are far too focused on making money rather than patient health.
Worst Medical centre you have to book 3 weeks before you get sick to get an appoinment. Would not recommend and they over charge money grabbers.
