Absolutely loved our stay at Rocky Mountain Chalets! From the moment we arrived, the guy working at reception was so welcoming, friendly and helpful — and the resident cat was an added bonus!nnThe chalet itself was perfect and felt like pure luxury. Everything was clean, comfortable and beautifully set up, and the location was ideal.nnThe sauna and hot tub were such a great touch and made the stay feel even more special. I also loved having the laundry facilities there, even better knowing I could head home with no washing to do!nnWe honestly couldn’t fault our stay and would happily return. Highly recommend Rocky Mountain Chalets!
We had a fantastic stay at Rocky Mountain Chalets and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.nnThe chalet was spotlessly clean, warm, quiet and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect, close to everything while still feeling peaceful. We especially loved having a well-equipped kitchen with everything we needed, which made our stay so much easier.nnThere was very little to fault. A few basic cooking essentials, such as oil, salt and pepper, would have been a nice touch, and a little more space to store and open suitcases would have been helpful. These were only very minor suggestions in what was otherwise a wonderful stay.nnHighly recommended for anyone visiting Ohakune!
If you are staying in Ohakune or going to the mountain skiing highly recommend Rocky Mountain Chalets.nThe 3 bedroom chalets are perfect for a family or group of friends. The spa is a sweet addition.nWill is a super friendly host who is very knowledgeable about the region & it's history.nBest part is the reasonable price for a 2 night stay.
I am very happy with our stay here. It was only for a night but would love to have more time to spare. The chalet was clean and spacious! Very good for families as well. The receptionist is an amazing guy!
Stayed here for three nights recently and had the best time! Clean, warm, well-equipped chalet in a prime location. Being so close to town, the carrot, and Ruapehu — what more can you ask for?! There are three deep-soak spas and a sauna which are lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. I felt safe and warm and didn’t have any problems at all. My bed had an electric blanket, there is a heat-pump, and even washing/drying facilities in your chalet which is super handy. Look forward to staying here again, thanks very much for having us nBolivia
