Wow! We haven't had burgers this good in a very long time. You have to try the stuffed burgers. My wife had the Farmers Pride stuffed burger while I had the Mexicano. Cooked to perfection, the smokey flavours complemented each other fabulously. Check out the photos on this review.
Very disappointed ordered had asked for a medium rare steak and got a raw steak that was still mooing in the paddock.nnPartner got the eggs benny and tasted like watery eggs with a bad tasting hollandaise sauce no seasonings whatsoever.nnWe had sides that was the chicken wings and all it tasted like was lemon.nThe onions rings were still cold in the middle,and it was a very small portion.nnHad to grab menu from bar and order at bar.nStaff seem inexperienced and worry more about eachother.nnWe had spent 100$ for our 2meals and 2 sides.nnOverall it was a disappointing experience and do not recommend it to anyone.
Just got back with takeaway order and am really disappointed. I order the salmon fillet on mash with seasonal greens and hollandaise. The portion is tiny and poorly presented, the seasonal greens is a blob of probably frozen spinach and the hollandaise sauce which makes up most of the meal is just the store bought sauce. Not what I was expecting for over $36. Excuse the pic, I started on it before I thought to take a picture.
Had a shrimp salad. The shrimps were huge. 8 of them. Loved it. Also loaded fries and garlic bread. Junior had pizza and chips. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.
A lovely place to grab a meal and a beer with friends or family. The food is excellent and beer is some of the cheapest around Kerikeri.nThey looked after our large work crew every afternoon for our 3 week stay in Kerikeri. Serving us astonishingly good drinks and dinners, we will be back here anytime we are in Kerikeri.
