Roberta reserve has a great play ground for the kids which safe and fun for them. There are picnic tables and wide open fields to play and run around there’s a nice scenic walkway and ample parking on the street
FULLY FENCED PLAYGROUND Discover Roberta Reserve Playground! Riddell Road, Glendowie, Auckland. A nice, older playground that is functional and provides plenty of challenges. There is a wide range of equipment to balance, swing, climb, rock, spin and slide. For younger children there are lower options to climb and slide, interactive panels, toddler swings and a basket swing. The reserve itself is on the Tamaki Estuary with a large flat grassy area perfect for kicking a ball around or playing games. The park includes seating, picnic tables, public toilets and a drinking fountain.
The reserve has a great playground that children love. A couple of cafes within five minute walk, on street parking available, public toilet operating as well. Great walkway along the waterfront.
A lovely park, not too over crowded, excellent kids playground and wonderful clean bathrooms.
Large open space next to the water. Small but well set up playground for the young. Great coffee shops less than a minute away. Young trees have been planted recently so that will enhance the space a lot.

Nice place for different activities. Sea view is very poor when tide is low, however, it gives a chance to have a long walk by the sea bottom.

Large flat area of grass off-leash 24/7 for dogs. Fenced in playground and public toilets to one side. The stream alongside doesn't smell so good. Beware that whilst dogs are allowed off-leash on the grass, they are not allowed at all on the inter-tidal zone the foreshore, so they must be under good verbal control.
