As an Australian tourist coming to NZ, this cafe is literally the best ive had in so so long. Coffee was really enjoyable, however the Matcha drink is GENUINE matcha from japan and tastes AMAZINGnnThey nailed it down, as an asian that enjoys a variety of drinks and food from asia, they impressed me with this particular matcha drink! Not syrupy as they use real powder, with no grassy taste at all!nnThis is the first cafe in many other cafes ive tried in nz and it was amazing. Try it out if youre on the road!
Ordered 2 chicken and mushroom pies at $12.50 each thought they look good and should be at that price but... If there was chicken in them couldn't taste or see it mushroom were plentiful also 2 coffee'snCharged an extra $3 for relish wasn't asked/or told there was an extra charge for relish and it wasn't relish just a smear of sauce on the plate. $42.13 for 2 pies and 2 coffee's Never again. We have been to many Robert Harris and never experienced an extra charge
A wonderful pit stop on our Easter drive from Hamilton to Hawkes bay.nCoffee for Mum and free dairy free ice cream for the kids. Was just the pick-me-up needed. Thank you Robert Harris Tokoroa for the friendly welcome and lovely service.
Had an impromptu stop while travelling with our small dog for the first time. Will definitely be back. Had a lovely well fenced pet friendly courtyard which the lovely staff encouraged us to use. Our dog was safe and happy while we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.
We walk to Robert Harris twice a week for a coffee and a sweet treat. We highly recommend their date and orange scones baked on site by Nicky, served with generous lashings of jam and cream!nDavid and Nicky are friendly and welcoming hosts who know our order by heart now!nCustards squares are also delicious and always fresh.
